Eliashib
(fl. 5th cent BCE)
   Israelite, high priest in the time of Ezra and Nehemiah. He and his priestly colleagues were responsible for rebuilding the wall guarding the north-western approach to the Temple Mount: their portion was the Tower of Hananel, the Tower of the Hundred, and the Sheep Gate (Nehemiah 3:1).
